Bradbury House Staff Team

The Bradbury House Staff Team consists of 3 full time managers supported by 3 senior team leaders and a team leader. They lead full and part time care assistants, administration, maintenance and housekeeping staff.


Our team of carers come from many different backgrounds; some have been employed in the care industry all their working lives. All our staff complete the mandatory training and NVQ’s, alongside this our staff having training in more specialised are such as, Parkinson’s disease , sensory impairment, Alzheimer’s, diabetes and Stroke awareness. They have a collective commitment to improve the quality of the lives of our residents and are proud to maintain the high standards of care that Bradbury House provides.

Registered Manager – Mrs Wendy Stallwood

Wendy has been caring for the elderly since 1991 and has worked at Bradbury House since October 1994, initially as a Nurse, then Nurse Manager from September 1996, Deputy House Manager from June 2000. She took on the post of House Manager in April 2001, following a several month spell as acting House Manager.

SDC10997-webWendy qualified as a nurse in 1991 and has since achieved a City and Guilds Management for Care award in 1996, an NVQ Assessors award in 2002 and Registered Managers NVQ award in 2006.
