Bradbury House Menus
The meals offered to our residents are balanced, nutritional and varied. We endeavour to provide meals that will cater for individual preference and dietary needs. Residents are regularly “consulted” about the choice of menu and the 4 weekly menus are always displayed on the main notice board. We aim to try and change our menu at least 3 times a year to incorporate seasonal produce.
The menus are designed to stimulate the senses whatever the dietary needs, whether it is homemade soups, wholesome lunches and evening meals or a delicious selection of desserts, some of which really take our residents’ back to their childhood favourites.
Wherever possible local and fresh ingredients are sourced for our meals. All of our baking is done in our kitchen and for those special occasions we love to whip up a cake or two. Our residents look forward to their wine and sherry served mainly on Sundays with lunch. Residents’ families are always welcome for meals.
Breakfast is generally served in the resident’s own room and each resident is able to make their own choice and have it served at their convenience. For the main meals residents have the choice of either eating in our main dining room, in our activity centre (For lunch only), in their wing lounger or in their rooms, the choice is entirely theirs to make.
Lunch is served from 12.30pm.
Supper is served from 6pm.
Drinks are available whenever requested.
Homemade cakes are always available for afternoon tea.
Snacks are available anytime of the day or night.
