Facilities

We offer extensive facilities to ensure all our residents are able to live the fullest possible lives. From our thriving Activity Centre, to our peaceful Garden Room, there is plenty of space for people to enjoy.

Lounges

We have a large communal lounge on the ground floor, which is used for various things including showing films, watching television and much more. For those who prefer a quieter time, there are small sitting rooms in each of our four wings.

Dining Rooms

There is a communal dining room on the ground floor where main meals are served. Residents are also able to cook in our purpose-built kitchen in the Activity Centre, which has a dining area and comfortable chairs. There are also small kitchens on each wing to make drinks, toast or use the fridge to store food items.

Activity Centre

Our purpose-built Activity Centre runs a carefully planned programme of events and outings designed to stimulate and entertain, as well as foster a sense of wellbeing. Residents and day visitors are able to enjoy all events on offer, even on weekends.

Therapy Room

Within the Activity Centre is the Therapy Room, which is fitted out with the equipment for hairdressing. Visiting qualified practitioners also use this space to provide services such as chiropody, manicuring, simple physiotherapy and aromatherapy.

Gardens

Our beautiful landscaped garden has numerous wheelchair-friendly paths, meaning everyone is able to enjoy the summerhouse, pond and patio. There are plenty of seats to sit outside and enjoy fresh air and beautiful views across the countryside in which our care home is set. Our gardener is very proud of the gardens and welcomes any help if residents want to get their hands dirty!

Garden Room

Our bright and airy garden room is a peaceful place for a cup of tea. It has views over the lovely gardens and countryside and is a tranquil place to read, reflect or enjoy watching the visiting wildlife.

Minibus

Our minibus is used for all sorts of trips. We are able to enjoy the beautiful Chilterns countryside that surrounds us, as well as undertake trips to the theatre and many local (and not so local!) places of interest.
