Come and join us at the wonderful National Film and Television School in Beaconsfield for a very special screening of the hugely-acclaimed Belfast. We are hosting this event to raise money for The Abbeyfield Beaconsfield Society (Bradbury House) and really hope you can join us.
Belfast is a 2021 British coming-of-age drama written and directed by Kenneth Branagh. With a stellar cast including Dame Judi Dench, Jamie Dornan and Ciarán Hinds, Branagh has described Belfast as his “most personal film”. It won the People’s Choice Award at the 2021 Toronto International Film Festival and has received much praise from critics.
The film received seven nominations at the 94th Academy Awards, including Best Picture, and won the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay. At the British Academy Film Awards it received six nominations and won Outstanding British Film.
