At Bradbury House, our residential care home in the heart of Beaconsfield Old Town, kindness is the foundation of everything we do. Our residents enjoy the best of both worlds: the tranquillity of our extensive gardens and countryside setting, combined with the vibrancy of being moments from a bustling town centre.

We’re proud to provide exceptional 24-hour personal care, support for residents with complex health needs, end of life care, and day care services for community members. Our facilities include a dedicated Activity Centre, stylish accommodation, a sunny conservatory, and plenty of space for residents to feel truly at home.

As we continue to grow and serve our community, we’re looking for passionate volunteers to join us in two key roles:

Marketing Volunteer (Flexible Hours)

Do you have a creative mind and a passion for community engagement? We’re seeking a volunteer to help promote Bradbury House and our Activity Centre throughout the local area.

What you’ll do:

  • Help raise awareness of Bradbury House within the Beaconsfield community
  • Advise and assist our staff with fundraising initiatives
  • Support various marketing activities to showcase our care home
  • Bring fresh ideas to help us reach more people who could benefit from our services

What we’re looking for: While a marketing background would be fantastic, it’s certainly not essential. What matters most is your enthusiasm, creativity, and commitment to helping us share our story. Whether you’re a retired professional looking to give back, someone exploring a career in marketing, or simply passionate about supporting quality care, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll receive:

  • Full reimbursement of any costs incurred
  • Extra support and guidance from our team
  • The satisfaction of making a real difference in your community

Minutes Secretary (1-2 hours per month)

Are you detail-oriented with strong organisational skills? We need a reliable individual to serve as our Minutes Secretary for monthly House Committee meetings.

The commitment: Meetings take place on the 4th Wednesday of every month, typically from 2pm-4pm.

What you’ll do:

  • Accurately record meeting discussions, decisions, and action items
  • Compile and distribute clear, concise minutes to all committee members
  • Prepare and send agendas in advance of meetings
  • Track action items and ensure follow-through
  • Maintain organised records and manage meeting-related correspondence
  • Ensure all procedural and legal compliance requirements are met

What we’re looking for: Someone who is reliable, has excellent attention to detail, strong written communication skills, and can commit to attending monthly meetings. Experience in minute-taking is helpful but not essential as we’ll provide support to help you succeed in this role.

Why Volunteer with Bradbury House?

When you volunteer with us, you become part of a caring community dedicated to providing the highest quality of life for our residents. You’ll work alongside our dedicated staff team, knowing that your contribution directly supports the wellbeing of those we care for.

Ready to Get Involved?

If either of these roles sounds right for you, we’d love to hear from you.
